“Celebrating Oklahoma’s Biodiversity”
Call for Abstracts
We are now accepting oral and poster presentation abstracts on topics such as lake and stream research, watershed and nonpoint source management, wetlands, water quality monitoring, fisheries, modeling, invasive species, and regional water quality issues. Students who present at OCLWA (oral or poster) will have the opportunity to participate in a contest with cash prize awards!
We are also accepting proposals for special sessions (3-5 presentations on a related topic/common theme) and workshops (1.5-2hrs, hands-on activities). Please note in your abstract submission form if you are proposing a special session or workshop (including the other speakers names). Abstracts from all speakers in a special session must be submitted separately.
Potential Special Sessions:
- Freshwater Mussels
- Oklahoma Fishes
- Species diversity within or across regions or watersheds
- Water quality or land management research focused in a specific watershed or ecoregion
- Watershed protection research or planning
